This policy explains what EcoStitch Ltd (“EcoStitch”, “we”) collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it under UK GDPR. The short version: we collect only what we need to answer your enquiry and produce your order, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

When you submit a quote request or contact form we collect the details you provide:

  • Contact details — name, email address, phone number, company name and country.
  • Project details — product types, quantities, sizes, colours and any notes you add.
  • Artwork files you upload with your enquiry.
  • Basic analytics data (pages visited, device type) via Google Analytics, collected anonymously.

How we use it

The lawful basis for processing is “steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract” for quotes and orders, and legitimate interest for analytics.

  • To prepare and send the quote you asked for, and to correspond about it.
  • To produce and deliver orders you go on to place.
  • To improve the website through aggregate, anonymised analytics.

Your artwork

Uploaded artwork is stored securely, is never publicly accessible, and is used solely to prepare your quote and produce your order. Artwork remains your property — uploading it grants us a licence to reproduce it only for your order. We retain artwork so that repeat orders are effortless; you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Storage & retention

Enquiry data and artwork are held on secured infrastructure with access limited to the EcoStitch team. We keep enquiry records for as long as they are commercially relevant, and delete or anonymise them on request.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. It is shared only with service providers essential to running EcoStitch (hosting, email delivery, couriers for order delivery), each bound by their own data-protection obligations.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the ICO. To exercise any of these, email us — contact details are below.
